Garden Vegetables!

So happy, my mom brought me some green onions, cucumbers, lettuce, red tomatoes, purple bell peppers, and some green tomatoes out of her garden. I can't wait to enjoy these goodies. Homegrown vegetables taste so much better than store bought. I am going to fry a couple of the green tomatoes tonight with dinner. I can not wait. We love fried green tomatoes! I think I may slice one of the cucumbers and have some green onion with dinner as well. I may use some of the lettuce, bell pepper, red tomatoes, and cucumber to make a salad tomorrow to go with dinner. I love this time of year when you get to start harvesting the garden and the vegetables from the garden are so good for you as well.
