Day 142
Psalm 121
Psalm 121:1 < I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help.
2 My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keeps thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Everyone needs help now and then. Who do you turn to for help? Is it a family member, friends, professionals? The list is endless of people we could call when trouble comes our way.
However, the psalmist knew the only person qualified to help him when trouble lifted its ugly head in his direction. He turned to God. He knew God would keep him safe from all evil, and he was always available because he never slept.
As you look at these verses you see a promise that God will not allow any evil to come near you. He will protect you day and night, and he will preserve your life now and into eternity. God never sleeps.
As Christians, we have hope in an unfailing God who has never failed to keep one of his promises. If he said it, he will do it. It’s God’s guarantee to you.
Does that mean we can take our life in our hands and act foolishly because God promised to keep us safe? No. It means we act responsibly at all times, but when Satan comes against us to harm us in any way, he will protect us and take care of Satan and any demons he has sent to harass us. God protects us from evil, and I’m sure he has even protected us from our foolishness when we didn’t know the dangers involved in what we were about to do.
Paul the Apostle told us that just because we accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, it doesn’t give us a free ticket to keep on sinning.
Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (KJV)
When trouble comes our way, God will help us. However, we are not to go looking for trouble. We are on our own if we’re going to act foolishly.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for taking care of and protecting me from all evil Satan brings my way. Help me not to act foolishly, taking my life in my hands, but always act responsibly towards myself and those around me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

It is good to have friends and family to turn to. But you should also turn to god in your prayers to help you.
When we sold our house and bought a new one I did not think we would get what we wanted in a house and we did. Because i believed that god would lead us to the house that I wanted and he did.

That's the best way. I'm so glad you got the house you wanted.
