#8 in my Favorite "Crazy" Songs series is the second of three songs entitled "Crazy," this one by Australian band Icehouse.
Led by vocalist Iva Davies, Australian Recording Industry Hall of Famer's Icehouse formed in Sydney in 1977, hitting the public eye with their spooky song "Icehouse." The band became increasingly commercially successful, culminating in their biggest hit, 1987's "Crazy."
The alt-pop song was an international success, peaking at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Crazy" was very listener-friendly, and received airplay on soft-rock radio as well as on alternative stations.
Oh, be sure to dig the king-hell mullet on Davies as you watch the video.

At first, I thought you were writing about the song "Crazy" that Patsy Cline sang. I never heard the version you mention above.
