Shannon Drayer reports the news on Monday the Seattle Mariners have placed right handed starting pitcher Taijuan Walker to their AAA minor league team the Tacoma Rainiers. Walker had been activated from the 15 day disabled list on August 6, 2016 after he was sent to the 15 day disabled list on July 6, 2016 after he had tendinitis in his right foot. Walker pitched four innings on Saturday giving up six earned runs in the Mariners 8-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Mariners feel that Walker needs to work out the bugs in his system by sending him back to the minor leagues on Monday. Ariel Miranda will replace Walker as the starting pitcher for the time being. Recently acquired right handed relief pitcher Arquimedes Caminero who was traded away by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Mariners on Saturday in exchange for a player to be named later will replace Walker on the Mariners 25 man active roster.

Walker had been promising for several seasons now and the Mariners keep waiting for him to pitch like King Felix.

That is correct if Walker can team up with King Felix.
