Drenched in the rain - Like showering with my clothes on!

Just when I decided to leave work yesterday, the rain decides to pour down heavy on me. And by heavy I mean literally! It was as though I had a bath with my clothes on. Yes thats right. Completely drenched. Even with my umbrella, the breeze just swooshed the rain in my direction. Almost lost my umbrella too. However tried my best to save my handbag because it had my tab and phone and other important papers. Have you ever got caught in the rain?

@cxndie,And I,for one,used to deliberately go out for long evening walks in torrential rains without any umbrella or raincoat.

Yes it is a different thing if you are doing it for fun. I was returning from work.. I too love to prance in the rain :D

I cannot remember being poured on heavy since it doesn't rain often here. I would try my best to save my handbag too :)

I find that unbrellas do not work and when the wind comes they blow and get wrecked. I do not use one anymore. I have hoods and yes that is a perfect way to put it like taking a bath or shower with your clothes on. It is not picnic to be out when it is pouring rain outside.
