Metallica sounded a lot better before St Anger! MASTER OF PUPPETS ROKS!!!!!!!!!!

I Disagree with people that say St. Anger was bad. St. Anger was a great album. Just because it didn't some like a previous Metallica album doesn't make it bad. They were giving us different sound that mad St. Anger so much different and some bands can't do that vey well. It just adds to there timeline.

I agree that St. Anger wasn't bad. I liked it. But I prefer their earlier stuff such as Master of Puppets.

st. anger was a total letdown for metallica fans and i guess its a sign that the band is past its prime. but what it has consistently given us before st.anger came is enough to establish their status as pioneers.

I have to agree with you. St Anger was a disaster. I hope they will make it back to the good times. I have to say their best is "ride the lightning".

I agree Master of Puppers my fav mettallica cd, love the song Battery, i listen to St Anger once never again

yes. the best metallica album ever is the black album. I like every single song in that album! too bad after that they seem to lose their identity - and their most ridiculous song is "the unforgiven II" - what, a sequel for a song? puh-leeez!

definitely metallica used to rock before st. anger
well... after that they are slowly moving towards nu metal .. and i dont like that like most metallica fans!
