We don't hear enough silly songs today. I've always enjoyed them. Life is too short to take everything so seriously. I like to laugh. Parody songs are some of the best. Weird Al Yankovic is a master of the witty songs. Another great singer of funny songs was Ray Stevens. Taking pokes at society also make for effective humorous songs. What is your favorite silly song?

@zebra2222 - Brother Steve-O - Sure enough, silly songs are where it's at... I remember when I was a little kid there was a song coming out of the radio oftentimes, the words of which seemed to me to be saying something about "Umberella Toothpicks." It had a catchy melody, but I never could figure out what that "umberella toothpick" stuff was all about. Years afterward I heard the words more clearly. They were singing about "umbrella's to fix..." not "umberella toothpicks." Makes me laugh to this day.

Sure, sometimes. I like Monty Python Sings. My son used to love Weird Al Yankovic, so I heard a lot of his. I guess I don't specifically go looking for them, but they're fun when I run across them. Anything to put a smile on someone's face, right?
