If the president can't fullfil his duties..then the Vice President steps up to office. Beyond that we have to wait until the next election to know. I doubt seriously that Rice would be in the running.

Why would anyone vote for Rice. I don't think she is even consider running for the race. I think the next president is not going ot be someone like Gore. It is going to be someonw with completely differen views. I think people in America are ready for a change. They are tired of seeing their government fail and are looking for a renewed trust.

Right now, the most likely candidates are Hilary Clinton and Al Gore from the Democrats, and Rudy Giuliani and John McCain from the Republicans. My guess at this point is it'll come down to Hilary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani, and it's too far away to pick between them. Rice has said she doesn't want to run. That can always change. Anyone who's going to run in 2008, would have to be in the middle of doing major fundraising, and would also be out making the rounds in New Hampshire, etc., and she's not out there doing any of that.

I think that's a very hard question to answer. We haven't even had the primaries yet so who's to say who will even be running on the next presidential ticket. I just hope we have two good candidates running. Also, I pray that whomever wins will continue to be tough on our fight against terrorism. We can't afford not to be. Some politians scare me the way they talk, like they are really foolish enough to believe that we're safe in the USA! We're absolutely not safe. We need to have our guard up at all times and investigate everything that could turn into something. I think despite what people say about George Bush he's done a great job keeping up with the terroristic plots against us since 911. I wouldn't want a president who pretended everything was ok, when it really wasn't.
