Wedding Motifs/ Theme

I will be attending my cousin's wedding on the 27th and I am excited since I will be attending as a bridesmaid. She will be using navy blue and gold as the motif.
I don't like the colors at first but when I was able to see one of the flower girls' gowns, I was able to really appreciate it. It looks really classy.
Now it made me think of what I will be using as a color theme for my wedding in the near future.
Please help me decide by giving me suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I would have never thought of navy blue and gold as wedding colors, but I think it's something you have to see for yourself and if it suits everyone.
Its hard to judge about color themes for a wedding if you don't really know the people that well. I always thought ice blue was a beautiful color. What season will it be when you get married?
