Have you ever started a movie with a completely clean slate? You haven't seen any previews for it, you know nothing of the story, but you decide to watch it anyway?
Well, I'm right there with you. I only decided to watch Vehicle 19 because it has Paul Walker in it. I'm not amazingly impressed with it so far, but I'm not far along either. It's set in Johannesburg, SA, where Paul is going to meet his girlfriend who I guess lives there. He's already had a snafu with the rental company, who accidentally rent him "vehicle 19" instead of the sedan he asked for.
What I find really interesting is that he's in Africa, but somehow his cell phone carrier has a signal there, and he's able to make cell phone calls. I'd love to know what carrier he has so that I can get a phone with them too. Probably Cricket or something like that.
Anyway, I'm off to finish my movie. I'll give my honest opinion when it's over. Be back in a bit!

I love to find a movie that nobody's heard of but is a "hidden gem." I usually find them on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Sometimes you can tell by the synopsis and the reviews, but sometimes you can't. I always feel like I hit the Mother Lode when I uncover one like that. It's funny how they often don't have actors anyone's ever heard of, either. There are a lot of independently made movies like that, so I always check out the indies.

I actually saw this on Netflix. I had never heard of it, so thought I would give it a shot. Not horribly impressed so far, but movie isn't over yet. We'll see if Paul can win me over. Those baby blues can win anyone over, right?

@ChildofGod81 well you haven't totally wasted your time if there's something decent to stare at, at least

I did see this movie and it was mediocre at best. Walker got a big paycheck from foreign producers due to his Fast & Furious fame.

I'm sure. Too bad those foreign producers didn't work as hard on the screenplay.

I used to do that but lately I always check the IMDB ratings first before watching any movie. It helps me to choose good movies to watch. Hope you enjoy the movie!

It didn't seem to be one he bought in Africa. It seemed to be one he brought with him. So no telling. I've seen that sort of thing in movies before though, and it always stumps me.
