People are under the wrong notion that eating Cashews will add up to your weight, The people who eat nuts regularly will definitely gain weight than those who consume cashews. Cashews actually help in reducing weight. But, what is the secret behind eating cashews?.The answer; Cashews should be taken in regular minimum quantities and should be treated as diet. If possible it should be added to your diet list. The other technique is to take them as snacks after 3 P.M. By the time you are ready craving for your dinner they will be digested thoroughly.

There is nothing particularly special about cashews. Like most other nuts they contain mono-unsaturated fats and so are better for you than the saturated fats found in dairy or meat products. They also contain some useful minerals but, since you don't need very much selenium and copper and both can be found in other foods, it would be unwise to eat cashews just for this reason. As with all foods, it is much more important that they should be included as part of a balanced diet than to go overboard proclaiming them as a 'miracle food'!

I can't stand when a food is declared better for a reducing diet, the quantity is what matters.

@marlina You may reduce the quantity of any food. But, you should not loose energy also. But, Cashews will reduce weight but does not reduce your energy. They give energy.
