Something New on Wikipedia Front Page

I just noticed that everyday wikipedia has something new to learn from. It shares some of the good things from around the world. It shares things from past, present and also some things which are specific to that day.
I wonder how many people behind the scenes are using such information. Also how many people are working for such type of the content.
This is something I really love to read every day in the morning. Have you found this useful? I am thinking most of you know about this already.

Not always I visit wikipedia, only when doing some assignment, but that's great if they made some changes.

Wikipedia is pretty accurate for the most part. It gets a bad rap because people, mainly journalists see it as a source of laziness. Maybe so for them, but most do not have resources they do either.
