Is You Car Always In Need of Cleaning?

Recently, I attended a “Thirty-one” Home party. This company sells all sorts of storage containers and carry-all bags and totes. One of the items that was demonstrated was a storage item for the trunk of the car and another one to keep in the back seat. I purchased them both. They haven’t been delivered to me yet, but as soon as I get them, I will put them to use. I have all sorts of things in the trunk of the car that I keep there, but this will keep them from moving around in the trunk and then it will be easier to load groceries without having to move everything out of the way. It’s really amazing how quickly a car can get “trashed.” I don’t eat in my car, so that is not a problem most of the time, but occasionally my grandkids do and if I don’t remind them to bring the trash in the house for disposal, they leave it in the car. And, if we’ve gone to Toys R Us or Target and I’ve treated them to a toy, they have unpackaged it by the time we get back home and all that packaging has been left in the car, if I don’t remind them. Trash seems to be the biggest problem, but there are other things like sweaters and jackets and shoes and hats and books and magazines, and mail and so on. Do you find that is true of your car? Well, a storage container could be the answer. It could be a box or plastic tub, but I liked the idea of the one I purchased. If all the odd items are put in it, then just one trip into the house can empty the car of all items. Sometimes I send my grandson out to the car with a box and have him gather up everything in the car and bring it inside so I can sort through it. I’m going to get him to do that as soon as he gets home from vacation and then I can take the car to get it washed and vacuumed and all the windows cleaned. What do you do to keep your car clean?
