Packers vs. Browns

It was a great first preseason game. The Cleveland Browns put up the first points with a safety making it 2-0 in the first quarter. However, Green Bay answered that with a field goal. And so the points seemed to flip flop through the game. Once Green Bay got the lead however, they kept it. Half time score was 10-5 and the final was 17-11. It doesn't exactly look like a football score, but when you consider the three safeties and one missed two point conversion, that's what happens with the score. Both teams played an excellent game. Green Bay has a great quarterback rookie in Callahan. He's got a good arm and has been well coached by Aaron Rodgers. Mortell is another rookie that has a great leg as a punt kicker. There were a few more rookies that exhibited great athleticism on the field. It will be interesting to see who will be left standing when the first game of the season starts in September. There is good news - Jordy Nelson is expected back by next week and might see some action. So that is good news for Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers. As I was watching the game I also made myself something to eat and set off the smoke alarm in my kitchen. Time for me to get used to this stove. It does seem to cook faster than mine back at the house. And I was standing right there with it trying not to make it burn. Oh well. At least the Packers played better than I did with my cooking skills, which are usually very good. I just need to learn to cook on the new stove and all will be well once again. So that is how the last few hours went here. How about you? How has your day gone? Thanks for reading.

@Jessicalynnt That's a blessing not to be on the phone with customers in that situation.

I'm sure that would make diehard NFL fans irritated to the max if they couldn't watch a game.

I had a busy day, but ended it by volunteering at the homeless shelter. At least all I have to make is a salad ... so I don't have to worry about burning anything! LOL
