#3 in my Favorite" Crazy" Songs series belongs to Seattle's Heart, and their song "Crazy on You."
Led by sisters Ann (vocals) and Nancy Wilson (guitar,) Heart hss been at it since 1973, and are not only classic-rock staples, but are also in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band has sold over 35-million records worldwide.
1975's "Crazy on You" was Heart's very first single, from their debut album Dreamboat Annie. The song performed modestly, stalling at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100, but has had the staying power of a classic, still heard on the radio to this day. The song has also been featured numerous times in films, television, and in video games.
It's Heart's 70's output that I like. Their 80's stuff, not so much. "Crazy on You" is a big reason why.

No brainer that will make a future list of mine. A great song. I prefer hard rock 70s Heart to wimpy power ballad 80s Heart.

I'm right there with you. Thankfully, they've returned to their roots.

@teamfreak16 The irony is Heart's greatest commercial success was the power ballad era with their only #1's. But no one remembers those songs. It's Barracuda and the rockers.

@JohnRoberts - They did adapt to the 80's, I just didn't care for it.

But you remembered it when you heard it. Great classic rock.

I was never a fan of theirs. They're my brother's second favorite band (behind the Moody Blues), but the only song of theirs I ever liked was the song "Dreamboat Annie." Having said that, I think they nailed Elton John's "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters"...and if you remember my Elton list, that's my all-time favorite Elton song!

Yes, I was rooting for "Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatter's" just so I could use my Heart comment! Love love love "Dreamboat Annie."

Love that one, especially the guitar intro.

She's good. She did a great job on it when I saw them.

It's a great album (and song.) I listened to it a lot myself.
