What is the best option? Love or arranged marriage!

I would go for a love marriage because in this case you get to look for your own Miss or Mr Right,take time to know each other better and are better off to work out things on your own.But for an arranged marriage in case it fails,you will always lay the blame on somebody else for making bad decisions for you.

Arranged marriages are not what the term mean now. Forty years ago mine was arranged by our families but the final decision was ours and we talked it over before saying yes. At that time it was not the norm for boys and girls to meet and mingle. Now situation has changed in India too. Wise parents know not to impose their decisions on their children and they form the majority. Let their children take the responsibility for their decisions. I prefer love marriage. It will give time to know each other and discuss their future. It will give them a clear idea about if someone has chosen the right person for him/her. However most couples I see in my village are married by proposals (most of them are 35-50) and they live happy lives.

I use to say that only love marriages are the way to go. I still think that, but lately I do think in certain situations an arranged marriage may be good. It depends on the particular situation.

I'm sure many arranged marriages do very well, I think it depends on the couple.

There is no best in this case, its very individual...some love marriages are all perfect in the beginning and then fizzle out...some arranged marriages take time..but grow into undying love. and vis versa....with marriages...anything can work...anything can fall apart. Its really how much you can ...and are willing to make it work.

Arrange marriage is better.coz it is happen by parents well wishes and blessings.. Even love marriage also get parents permission but the mercy is in arrange marrage.. It depends the fate what we have..

Arranged marriages are better, I guess. You can explore new aspects of your relationship even after marriage, while in love marriage years of courtship will make you an open book to your partner without much mystery and vise versa. But getting to know each other a bit before marriage is required.
