We Need His Help!

If you think about it, the very act of God resisting the proud is an act of His love. As long as we think we can do it alone He will let us go our own way until we finally fail and realize that we need His help. Humbling ourselves before the Lord is coming to an understanding that God's power is available to us in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. As we become comfortable with whom we are in Christ we can rest in His unlimited abilities and cease from our own inadequate efforts. How about you, do you need His help? Picture from bing.com

@skysnap Yes we do as He created us and understands how we work. We can tend to get emotional and that can lead us astray if were not careful. Thats when we need to pray and draw near to God. Are you a Christian too?

@lovebeingmummy2 You are right on with that Sister. When did you come to know Jesus? It was in March of 1986 for me and I still have so much to learn for sure! How old are your children? How old are you?

@lovebeingmummy2 The ages of your boys are a special age, their still so innocent and finding their way in life. I remember my boys at that age it was unfortunate for them that their father and I divorced. They really struggled back then. I pray things are good in your family that the Lord is leading and guiding both you and your husband!

Not only do I need his help, I want his help. To me, life without God is of no value. John 14:26

@sol_cee Your absolutely right about that. Only He knows our hearts desires. I like how He shows us whats in our hearts when we open up to Him and ask like David did for Him to search our hearts! Where is Tuvalu located? Never heard of it. I live in the United States in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's a pleasure to meet you child of God.

I need God's help every day and while I can't always see what God is doing, at the end of every day, I thank Him for being here for me. I know He is guiding me out of the pain I've been in and into a better place.

@Butchcass4 I lost my Beloved Husband very suddenly almost 2 years ago. He was only 46 and in perfect health, but had a fall down some stairs, sustained brain damage and I lost him within 24 hours. We were so close and so deeply in love and it's been a difficult road. I pray every day for God to show me where He needs me next, and I will be ready to do His work in whatever way I can.
