My oldest daughter and I did some grocery shopping at our local Wal-mart this past weekend (I had a couple other items to pick up so I just did some of my grocery shopping too). While there, I decided to pick up some convenient breakfast items and, after looking in the freezer section for a little while, decided to buy a box of these.
I had an opportunity to try this product yesterday morning and, overall, I was pleased with my purchase.
I'm a big fan of convenience when it comes to breakfast foods. This is because we are usually in a bit of a rush in the morning (especially when school starts) and don't have a lot of spare time. This product definitely meets that convenience criteria. All I had to do was pop one of the wraps in the microwave for less than 2 minutes and it was ready to be eaten.
The wraps also proved to be much more filling than expected. They looked a bit small and I wasn't expecting one to be enough. But, it was a surprisingly filling breakfast choice. I had one and was satisfied.
As far as taste goes, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. They weren't bad. But, it wasn't too hard to tell this was a pre-processed frozen item. In other words, it wasn't anything special. However, at minimum, I would at least give them an "average" rating as far as taste. And, because of what I said before about convenience and being filling, that is just good enough.
I don't know if it's a product I would buy on a regular basis. But, if I were looking for something convenient for breakfast in the future, I would consider these.
