I love green apples, they taste way better than red! whats your favorite color apple?

Red. I don't care for the green ones. Have you heard the old wives tale about green apples giving you belly aches. Don't think it is true, though.

i agree with you...Granny smith apples are the best for just eating, and also hold up better to cooking and have a better cooked flavor!....yummm!

I love the Jonathan Winesap variety. They are a deep red with golden speckles.
The true variety of this species is excellent for eating out of hand and makes an excellent salad fruit.
My other favorite is the Gala species- I've tasted very few as satisfying as this one!:)
