It's cause for celebration. We've reached #1 in my Favorite "Crazy" Songs series, and the 3rd and final song in the series entitled "Crazy," this time, "Crazy" by Seal. Born in England, Seal (his name really is Seal. Seal Henry begins his lengthy name) has been at it since 1987. The soul singer has sold more than 30 million records worldwide, and has won four Grammy Awards. Produced by 80's uber-producer Trevor Horn (Yes, ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood,) "Crazy" is the first single from Seal's eponymous 1991 debut album. The song was an international hit, charting in multiple countries, including #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #2 in the UK. "Crazy" has been covered numerous times, most notably by Alanis Morrissette. The first time I heard "Crazy," was on a Ft. Collins alternative radio station as I drove home one New Years Eve through a Denver blizzard. Rather than focusing on the task at hand, all I could think about was "who IS this?" I bought the CD the next day, and now, all these years later, here it is, #1 in a teamfreak16 series. Funny how that works.
