It's been two days in a row for this week that they suspended school. The girls are enjoying it. I remembered how it was when I am still a kid. The excitement it gives us when we heard that there's no classes for the day! Well,it is due to the bad weather conditions out there. I am trying to stock up as much food as I can just in case something happens. It is better to have a lot of food around as I have kids at home. My kids are just enjoying their cartoons while I am hoarding. What do you usually do when there are storms in line to happen?

Yes it always pays to be prepared but think of it also as fun and something educational to do

Yeah, you need to have more stock specially if there's a storm. It's hard when there's no food on the counter for you to eat with.

Here, schools close when it is icy or snowing heavily. We sometimes get hurricanes in the fall. We stock up, too, and put in a generator so we have power. We also move to Florida for the winter so we don't have to worry about snow anymore.

We just stay at home and sleep all day. Yes, I also stock foods in the pantry for my daughters.
