They had a sleep over

It was nice this weekend on Saturday night. After a long night of watching soccer we took the kids back to my parents house for a little sleep over. The kids have been waiting to spend the night since their cousin's birthday so we thought it would be the perfect night. My mom was off of work the next day and the kids would be tired and way past their normal bed time when we got back. The baby crashed on the way back out to my parents house for the night so it didn't' take us long to get the kids into my parents house. They did well and crashed not to long after getting back. me and my husband where so tired after we got home and put the baby in his bed that we both crashed and slept till 9am. The baby work up twice during the night and went back to bed easily after a little nursing. I slept like a rock between those times.

My granddaughter had a sleepover with her friend a couple of weeks ago but they chatted until 2.45 am! We were all shattered the next day.

Lol my kids don't stay up normally past 7pm unless we let them. Once the lights are out they are gone. Sleep overs with family they just let the kids crash when they are ready.

@ShyBear88 My granddaughter tends to be a bit of a late bird anyway so I shouldn't be surprised that she was awake half the night!

@sprite1950 you mean night owl, I'm a night owl myself so is my 5 year old daughter. She was the last kid down at that sleep over but she wasn't up past 12am.
