The Strangest Thing Happened

I posted a couple of articles three days ago or at least, I thought I did. I was trying to reach the milestone of 900 posts.
Then, my internet connection failed and for about 24 hours I had no internet. My son tried everything he knew to get it back, but couldn’t and then finally, I tried a few things and sure enough, to my own surprise, I succeeded in restoring it.
However, the articles that I thought I had posted were nowhere to be found. I thought maybe ADMIN had deleted them and I wondered why.
Luckily, I had saved them in my documents and so I reposted them today. So, I NOW have reached my goal of 900 posts.
It’s the strangest thing, because they were definitely posted, but then they disappeared. Has that ever happened to you?

Not yet since I came back to myLot. But I remember glitches in the past. Although I don't think they had to do with a power failure on my end. I'm glad you'd saved those posts. I never bother with doing that. I can hardly even think of a topic to post one at all.
I remember in the early days of the internet, msn would "lose" people's log in details, now THAT was frustrating. It was not a refined science back then.

This was really strange to me. I know for sure that I posted the articles with photos and all. Since I was having internet issues, I suppose the problem was on my end. Who knows?

@IreneVincent Yeh but normally you would have been able to see that they weren't going through. It's strange. Unless they violated myLot rules. Some of those are a little picky.

@CinnamonGrl I just reread the rules. And I didn't find anything that would disqualify the posts. Besides, I had posted things like that before and they are still on here.
I think it had more to do with my internet connection but I'm not sure.

@responsiveme OK I sent GoAskAlice a message. I'll wait and see what answer I get. I see a lot of things on here that I think is "useless' information, but not harmful in any way. Someone must be following my posts and complaining, I think.

But, I had posted things like that before and they are still there. I LOVE trivia and I have found that other people on here do also. I just read all the "rules" again and I don't see anything that would disqualify trivia as a proper subject.
I DO know that I can't just ask the questions and expect answers from others. So, I provide the answers.
I also think that trivia gives a lot of "scope for discussion." We've had some great discussions about some of the little known facts.

I posted the two articles again and they were deleted again. Admin has not answered my request for a reason.

And yeah, when the internet connection is bad, you can't really count on things getting posted online...its happened to me several times on Facebook.
