Saw Montgomery Gentry Last Night

Sorry, in advance, for the distance of the photo. Seating was first come, first serve and we decided to walk through the fair up until just before the concert started. Plus, I had to use my cell phone because I opted not to lug my camera with me (I usually have to carry enough as it is).
We didn't stay for the full concert, unfortunately. My youngest daughter was exhausted from our earlier walk through the fairgrounds, when it was pretty hot out, and decided she wanted to stay at my parents' house instead. So, as a result of that, we had to leave early enough to pick her back up. However, what we did hear was pretty good. They bring quite a bit of energy to the stage and had the crowd involved really early.

I never heard of Montgomery Gentry. A country band?

They are (though some of their songs are a little closer to Pop). My wife doesn't like country but enjoyed a lot of their songs.

You are very lucky. They are one of my favorite country bands. I would love to see him in concert but they never come up this way. Even though the picture is far away it is nice just the same.

We definitely had no problems hearing them. That's one of the nice things about our fair. Admission is relatively cheap ($7.50 if you come before 2, $10 after 2 or $27 for season tickets) and includes the four bands they bring in. Tonight is Granger Smith but I'm probably not going to stay for that concert (not really familiar with that one) and tomorrow night, my annual fair date night with my wife, is Brett Michaels. Saturday is Canaan Smith, which I'm undecided about since we have church on Sunday morning.
