I've never had sushi before. The thought has always put me off. You know raw fish isn't really a thing in into. Since we went out to a new places and to try a little want to expensive at all we ended up getting one small plate of sushi to try. Yep neither mine or my husbands cup of tea. At least we can say we both gave it a tried and didn't like it. You never really now till you try. I always tell my kids try it first you might like it. I can say I dot dislike sushi but I don't love it and wouldn't enjoy eating it either.

Sushi isn't my cup of tea either! It is a huge fade here all my friends are out enjoying there sushi filled evenings while I pass on by! I have only tried it once and cannot talk myself into giving it another shot. I know they even have "cooked" sushi still can't go for it.

@ShyBear88 I haven't tried that. Is it just the white sticky rice?

@farbuoloxusy that is sticky rice if you eat it by it's self but no a rice ball is normally filled with something like tuna, or fish, I like mine plain mostly. I do like sticky rice and make that often for the kids so its easier for them to pick up.

I think original recipe may not taste good for some. and that's why the original recipe is changed a lot.

What do you mean. Traditionally all sushi is raw fish, some places have started cooking or lighting cooking fish to make it more American but this was traditional sushi it's raw fish cookies rice and stuff.

@sabtraversa typical sushi from Japan from what I know is a rare of like blow fish, tuna, salmon, a few other fish but I have never seen or heard of them doing it with whales. typical a small water fish that is easy and simple to fish.

It's good that you guys at least tried it. It's better to try it and know that you don't like rather than just assume you don't like it.

Yep, I couldn't say no the next time I go some laces and they offer me to take some Ill be nice and eat it even though I don't like it. But at least I know I won't dry from it. Haha! My husband probably won't touch it again. I always look at sushi and say how lovely they look. Because it does take love to make it look so pretty.
