Clothing Storage Help?

My little house doesn't have much for storage. Okay, it has like no storage areas! We are working on adding in a decent size closet in the front half of the bathroom but we ran out of money for that project so for now it is a door to open construction we haven't touched in a long time. We had to work on the kids room first.
I have a closet completely full and a small dresser also full! I don't have very many clothes but my husband has a ton! Work clothes, regular clothes, fire clothes! I also have a huge dresser in my room with my newborns clothes and blankets in there because his room is far from done. Now I just need to figure out a new place to store some of my clothes!
Anyone have any brilliant storage ideas for clothes?

I think there are also sofas that double as storage cabinets.

That I will certainly look into! We are looking for new furniture for the living room and that sounds perfect!

I am going to have my husband measure for me so I can see if the totes will fix. I don't have a ton of room but I am hoping they make skinny drawers that will fit under there.

I would add more dressers but my room is so cramped right now. I have my bed, my sons crib his huge 6 drawer dresser and one of those plastic bins for my stuff. I need to start building up or get my son's room done so his crib and dresser can move on out.

That is my plan. I just need to measure and hope my bed is tall enough for the bins.

Looks like you've received some good ideas - hope something will work out best for you... Storage is almost like a never-ending work for me... Once I get something organized, another will start accumulating and will need some organization, and so on...
