Was Very Disappointed By Last Night's Concert

The rain held off enough for my wife and I to see Bret Michaels last night (it was very cloudy but didn't start raining until we got home). Unfortunately, even though it was something we were looking forward to, we ended up being very disappointed. It was a very short concert, lasting roughly an hour. By my count, he did only 8 songs total, 6 from his Poison days and a cover of a KISS song and a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Lots of filler stuff in between. Even my wife agreed Montgomery Gentry was considerably better on Wednesday. And, she doesn't even like country music.

8 songs is pretty leans. Were there other acts on the bill?

No. Just them and one song from the fair's karaoke champ. They did have a meet and greet before and after the concert. But, you had to pay $200 per person for that (the money, to be fair, went to local charities).

That's such a shame, I think it should have been a bit longer with more songs

Oh dear. My daughter liked poison, me mom not so much. I'll pass this news on, if you have the chance for Bret Michaels, maybe you don't want to, heh heh. Might not suit her taste anyway anymore. I'm glad at least one of the acts was decent.

Sorry to hear that I know you were looking forward to it. An hour concert isn't very long, I am sure you weren't the only ones who wear disappointed in the performance. There lots like there was a good turn out for the concert. Nice picture.
