Getting ready for company

Our friends from NY who bought a house not too far from us are on the road heading this direction. We will be getting together Tuesday for a 'pool party cook out'....they are bringing three of their kids plus Winston.
Winston is a big yellow lab. When I say big he's about 118 pounds! (Ruby is skinny at 75 pounds). Winston and Ruby will be meeting for the first time. This should be interesting. Winston has never been swimming so we hope Ruby will show him the ropes. Winston's 'mom' will be a nervous wreck until he proves he can swim.
Two big wet yellow dogs, lots of yellow dog hair - sounds like my mind of fun LOL

Thanks Judy - I hope they get along also - since if anything happens to us we are leaving Ruby to them.

Wow! Awesome I love dogs. Sometimes I want to see my doggy whole day. Hope Winston and Ruby are enjoying and having a good company.

They played a little but he doesn't run much and didn't go in the pool and she is a ball of energy and does it all - but there was no fighting and that's good.

Labs usually do love to swim, so I bet he'll be fine. Sounds like so much fun! Nice that your friends moved nearby.

They aren't retiring and moving here for three more years...they are using it as a vacation home for now.

She's a medium size lab. Our previous lab got up to 92 pounds before the vet told us to put her on a diet.
