Morgan and I have decided that this school year is going to be a good year and we are going to make it healthier as well. So Moran and I have decided that we are going to start going to the gym everyday except Mondays. It has been successful for four days now. We now have four of us going to the gym every night for about an hour or two. We have also improved our eating habits a lot from last year. We are avoiding sodas and fried foods all together and cutting down on are sweets a lot. We are also starting meatless Monday this up coming Monday. We do at least 30-50 minutes of cardio daily and we alternate with doing legs, arms, and core. We have also started lifting weights as well to gain some more muscle and hopefully lose some more fat. We use the Lifesum app to track our food, exercise, and weight. All the snacks I have in my dorm room are a big improvement healthy wise than they were last year. I still have a lot of improvement to do food wise but it is a good start. I am also taking my second nutrition class this year so hopefully by the end of the semester I will have a better understanding of it all. My overall goal is to lost 80 pounds but that is long term. Right now I am focusing more on losing 20-30 for right now and hopefully gain a lot more muscle in my upper body. I just wanted to share this positive change with everyone.

So happy that you have shifted to a healthier lifestyle! I myself stopped eating junk almost 8 months ago, and I do yoga religiously for 2 hours everyday. I have lost some weight, cured a lot of diseases and problems and even grown by almost 2 inches.

The working out part isn't hard for me. It is mostly the eating for me. I live in a dorm room and the cafe doesn't always have the best or healthiest foods available. They are under new management this year and some things have improved but they are still working on it.

Thank you. Sometimes I like going for walks by myself but most of the time I prefer to have someone with me. Having all of us doing it together makes the time go by so much faster and we end up staying at the gym for two hours. We get a lot done in those two hours as well.

I am happy for you. Keep the momentum going. Don't force yourself too much every day in gym. I was once doing it and ended up tearing my ligament. It took nearly two years to heal.

@CaseyRoss9966 Good to read this. I am planning to go to the beach tomorrow morning at around 4:30 a.m. for jogging, swimming and meditation.
