Mike Florio reports the news on Sunday Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak had a chat with reporters on Saturday evening after the Broncos 31-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers he will likely choose rookie Paxton Lynch to be his starting quarterback when the regular football season begins on September 8, 2016.
Lynch was a first round draft choice of the Denver Broncos in the 2016 National Football League Draft out of Memphis.
The Broncos currently have Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian ahead of Lynch on their depth chart.
Kubiak will go with the quarterback that gives his team the best chance to give them a chance to repeat as Super Bowl champions when the regular football season begins since Sanchez and Siemian have not been able to break the gridlock of leading the team during the first two weeks of the preseason.
It is unusual for a rookie quarterback to lead a team out of training camp when he compete against a season veteran like Mark Sanchez who has not been able to hold on to the football during the game versus the 49ers on Saturday night.

That will be something. defending Super Bowl champs have a rookie replace a retired legend.

The Denver Broncos will be hard-pressed to repeat as SuperBowl champions with the QB roster that they have right now.
Perhaps, it is time to get Peyton Manning back as starting QB or is it too soon?
