Do serious people make money from MLM

I have this question for quite while now. I asked this on many forums. I have no idea how this system helps some of the people. I have rarely seen people making money off any such scheme. Mostly the early entrants and the people who started such scheme benefit. I am not sure if there is any serious people who get in and stay for long. I know there are schemes like amway, avon which is still working for some... but for some reason I find it harder to work for me.

I am into it also, but I entered it because the product is very reliable, and no such big amounts of money involved; but pure marketing of the products.

Few people make money and many don't. I did well with some but eventually I quit them all.

Statistics perhaps show that some people do but any I've known just dabbled with the idea and didn't gain too much.

@skysnap They tell you it is a marketing plan. Don't be mistaken. It is sales plain and simple.

multi level marketing. it is method in which people recruit one another to make payout.

If you are one of the first who got into the mlm scheme, then for sure, you will earn from your referrals or downline. However, if you are part of those who came into the mlm program a bit late, then you have smaller chances of earning. Was never really into mlm - not my cup of tea.
