Why is it so?

Why had Newton sat under an Apple Tree? Why did he not sit under an Orange or Mange Tree? Was he fond of Apples more than Oranges and Mangoes? Was it this tree only available near his house? What happened to the Apple after his famous 'Gravitational Law?'.
These kept me under embarrassment when questioned by a child?

Lucky for him, he was not sitting under a coconut tree. Then, perhaps the gravitational law would have been stated by someone else.
