Baseball/Softball

Have you ever belonged to a baseball or softball TEAM? I used to be a catcher with a 4-H Club softball team, when I was a child.
I had my own catcher's mitt. My brothers had first baseman's gloves and fielder's gloves. I liked being a catcher.
My father used to take us to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball. That was his and my mother’s favorite team, when I was a child. They also watched the games on TV, I remember.
We only lived 90 miles from Pittsburgh, so it wasn’t very far to drive and as a child, I certainly considered it to be a GREAT adventure.
Most people have not seen, in person, a professional baseball team play a game of baseball. Have you?

not much interested in basketball love to play tennis.

Tennis is a great game. I've played tennis when I was younger but not for a long time now. I wasn't that good at it even when I was younger but I gave it a try.

My daughter plays city league now. She is catcher and loves it. She is also learning to pitch and plays 2nd base when I (the coach) sub in the 2nd catcher.
The only baseball games (other than my kid's) that I have been to is the Montgomery Biscuits. That is our local baseball team. My husband and son have gone to see the Atlanta Braves, but that is about it for us.
