A little bit back to my childhood...

I got to do some yard work when I came home from running errands with Mom today. When I was a child, we had a short fence in our backyard, and along the other side of the fence grew blackberries. As kids we used to hop the fence and pick tons of them. They've since build houses in back of us, but the blackberries persist. Today as I was trimming them, I noted some berries had ripened, so I picked them. There certainly aren't enough to make jelly, like Mom used to when we were kids, but they'll be good in my yogurt when I have it for breakfast.
