How do you like sleeping in a night with heavy thunder storm and heavy rain outside your house ?

I usually love to watch thunder and rain and enjoy this moment of refresh. However, few nights ago, there was a night really full of heavy thunder storm all through the night and heavy rain as well. Although the rain was ok but the thunder was not. It really woke me up for few hours before I could really get into sleep. Next day, I was really tired. That was my experience. How about you ? Share with us ?

Yes, it is always an enjoy experience but still something to worry about. Sometimes, it is good to have some juice to enjoy it.

@wildlittlefan But i wouldn't have a juice because it's cold , so i would rather have a hot coffee or hot tea or cocoa.

I enjoy a good thunder and lightening storm no matter what time of day it happens. I could never sleep through one. I get up and watch it until it passes. I am usually tired the next morning but it is worth it just to enjoy the storm.

For sure , you are someone who really enjoy thunder and lighting. As long as it is safe to watch it and also you have time to do so. It is quite an experience anyway.

since southern California has not had a storm or rain inmany many months I would love to have a thunderstorm and pouring rain all night so we would not be tinder dry and have forest fires.

i can't sleep well with thunders and lightning.. sometimes even with heavy rains outside.. i get paranoid sometimes thinking of flash flood..our home is some distance near the river that's why i worry too much sometimes..

Yes, safety is more important when living nearby the river. Sometimes it is more safe to watch snowfall if you don't mine to live in a cold country .

I can sleep will with the music of the rain outside but my eyes would be wide open with the scary thunders

Ha ha. keep your eyes close and just listening to the falling rain when it pours.
