It was the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna.
Numerous Hindus worship Lord Krishna, the avatar of God Vishnu.
The deeds of Lord Krishna are mentioned in epic Mahabharata.
People do puja and offer flowers fruits to idols of Lord Krishna.
