Did you know that not every disorder is visible?

Here's how I know, I was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, cognitive disorders and psychological disorders. But by looking at me I look normal and fine, once you get to know me, you realize I'm not like most. I've felt like an outsider most of my life cause it's hard for me to fit in, writing is my way of expressing myself. I'm a slow learner an sometimes the simplest things are hard for me to understand, but I work through things. I've been put down and made fun of, even been told I'm weird. I've also been asked how can I have those problems but look normal, appearances don't always show what's underneath. One thing I've learned growing up an having a bad self esteem, is you could be the most beautiful person in the world but your attitude makes you the ugliest! Even though I'm different than most I try an not let my disorders define every point of my life, cause I want to be like you but can't unless I make an effort. Does that make sense? I love making new friends all the time and would love to become friends with lots of you!

That is why I never judge people and always remind myself not to say words that might hurt them. They might be struggling with something that I don't know about. It's good that you're thinking positive, we would love to be friends with you too

Yeah...Everybody likes to have as many friends as possible. But, unfortunately they fail to maintain that friendship.

you are right, not all disorders are visible. All we can try to do is not let the negativity of another impact our energy in anyway. Best thing to do is walk away. you will always find better people to be around when you let go of the people giving you negative feelings.
