For some strange reason I began wondering how many of you wonderful MyLot people play musical instruments. I played the trumpet in school but have never touched a trumpet since graduating. A lot of people played instruments in school but few keep playing them through their adult years. Did you play an instrument in school? Do you still play it? Did you learn to play an instrument after finishing from school? How many musical instruments can you play? And if you play one how many hours per week do you devote to playing the instrument?

I play acoustic guitar, and I used to play piano. I haven't touched a piano in years, so I would probably be entirely rusty. I don't know how good my touch memory is for that, either. I had to read the music, I wasn't one of those "naturals."

I am certainly not a 'natural' either. I wish I had learned to play the piano when I was young. A friend of mine keeps saying, "It's never too late to learn." I guess my mind is too closed to new things.

I learned piano as a kid, but switched over to guitar later on. These days I play mostly bass, guitar and mandolin, but I sneak over and play keyboards at Guitar Center once in awhile.

Sure do! I am a music teacher. Every day I play piano, recorder, and flute. However, my college major was pipe organ. I only play that about once every month at a church.

I've played the keyboard it was fun but that was when I was in 3rd grade. I lost interest since I was just trying it out didn't know what I was doing.

In fact I am not good at music, but I like music. Some time ago I learned ocarina by myself. I like one song played by ocarina and it gave me a passion to learn this musical instrument. Since it is an easy musical instrument, so I learned it fast. I can play a few songs with it.

I used to play keyboard in junior high school for band. That was it. I don't play anymore. I threw out my Casio keyboard 2 years ago before I moved.
