The Chesterfield County Fair Starts Today

It’s one of the biggest county fairs around here and I would really like to go this year. We are still struggling with the HEAT though and I just can’t deal with that.
The fair starts today and will last for about 8 or 9 days, so I’m going to try to go when I hear a cooler weather forecast.
I mainly like to look at what the different vendors have to offer. I’ve been a vendor there myself a few times with my jewelry.
I also will have to have an Italian sausage sandwich with peppers and onions and some funnel cake. I don’t ride the rides any more but I would like to just walk around and take in the flavor of a county fair again, so I hope that I will be able to go.
I love me some funnel cake. YUM! What's your favorite food at a FAIR?

funnel cake is deep-fried dough that has been swirled around in various shapes and dropped into hot oil. Comes out cooked and powdered sugar is added to the top.
Quite unhealthy, but delicious. I don't eat it very often, but I always get it at the fair.

I have never tried a fried Snickers so maybe I would like to sample.

Yes, they have those too. I've never tried a fried Snickers either.
