The Wizard looked over the Grand Hall. His guests would be arriving soon. A Wizard held a magic box in his hand. It was encased with rubies and emeralds. Inside the box was a green crystal. This crystal was to be used to destroy Zoltar. It was 8:00 in the evening. The Wizard greeted his best friend Ogarth. He privately told Ogarth his plan. Ogarth shook his head in agreement. More Wizards entered the Grand Hall. Jena Fish, a wizard from Canteburry County warmly greeted the Wizard. Rumor had it that the two of them were very close. Jena was a Class 4 Wizard. She had extraordinary telepathic powers. Stroking her long blonde hair, Jena looked much younger than her actual age. Although she was 103, there were no signs of wrinkles or gray hair. The Grand Hall was bursting with activity. The Wizard had his guests sit at the solid oak tables. Awards and speeches were to commence. Just as everyone was seated, a puff of gray smoke emerged. Zoltar had arrived along with his monsters the Bylans and the Krupps. Zoltar spoke, "So good of you to come to this glorious affair. Too bad I must mess things up. Bylans, Krupps, destroy." The Bylans flew around the wizards. They assaulted them one by one. Wizard Coral took out his wand and set one Bylan on fire. Wizard Pearl cast a spell and turned another Bylan into a harmless salamander. The Krupps barreled into one table sending the guests flying. The Wizard blew a cloud of dust which turned the Krupps into Stone Hogs. "Your magic will not cause any more commotion," shouted the Wizard. "I have a special gift for you." Zoltar was extremely upset. "How dare you destroy my precious pets. I don't want your gifts. I want your head." The Wizard opened up the magic box. He took the green crystal out. With a flick of his wand. He sent a beam of light straight at Zoltar. Nothing happened. Zoltar laughed, "You forget that I am a Class Wizard. I am not stupid. I knew that the "gift" was a trick. I whispered a counter spell before I was even hit by that worthless piece of magic. Nevertheless, you and your like bore me. I shall destroy all that you care for in life. Beware old man, your demise shall come soon enough." With that, Zoltar vanished. However, he caused glasses to break throughout the dining room before he vanished. His voice could be heard laughing in a mocking tone. Thus ends the second part of the Wizard's Lament. What would be the fate of the Wizard? Would Zoltar achieve his goals. Stay tune for further adventures of the Wizard's Lament.
