You know how everyone wants to lose weight these days - so do I, of course, I'm a woman =) But I'd like to lose weight in a healthy way, not by throwing up or starving myself to death. Do you have any ideas on how to lose weight - like healthy recipies or other advices?

The only way to lose weight is to decrease calorie intake and increase activity. There's no other way to do it! Drink more water, get some exercise every day and try to eat smaller meals - and you will be a svelte babe in no time! Good luck!

Thank you, I don't know about anyone else, but I find it hard to drink much water or juices - I just don't like to drink too much. But your comment was really helpful =)

eat more vegetables - eat more vegetables
The best way to lose weight is to change your eating habits. Replace all junk food with fruits and vegetables. fruits and Raw veggies make great snacks and you can eat pretty much all you want. use lemon juice instead of a prepared dressing you don't really have to count calories unless you put a lot of high fat dressing on it. Use more olive oil in cooking instead of the other oils. Cut out the processed and white foods Eat like a king in the morning a prince at noon and a pauper in the evening. In other words eat a very large breakfast a medium size lunch and very little for supper. drink lots of water. and get some exercise. walking for 30 min a day even walking for 10 min at a time is good

I tried everything to lose weight but couldn't so I finally went to my doctor and found out that I had a problem. After getting that corrected I was able to start to lose weight. So my advice is to see your doctor for a physical and get there advice on how to proceed. I wish you the best of luck.

I lost 120 pounds when I went to Overeaters Anonymous and I gained a lot more besides pounds like gifts, and blessings and self-esteem and a new approach to life but I gained the weight back because I didn't follow through with the suggestions. It's a simple program, but it's not easy, but going to meetings is worth it no matter what we all weigh. If your interested in finding out why you eat, you can go on the Overeaters Anonymous website, by googling the name, there are meetings in the U.S. and all over the world, there might be one located right in your city, that is if your interested. I don't want to push you, but I still go to meetings and I know in my heart that I will lose the weight again with the support of the loving people in my group. Best of luck. Take care.

Here is a site that may be of help to you, it makes suggestions for calorie burn, lists calories per food item and has a recipe list. http://www.calorie-count.com/ Age has lots to do with weight gain and weight loss, our bodies change as we get older. In light of this I also reccommend this site. http://www.realage.com
