"Money is the 6th sense which controls all other senses"! What do you feel?

I never believed I would get so much fascinated to money. I always used to argue with my friends and relatives about not prioritizing money. But now, I flip my statement and take their side. With age I have changed a lot. Responsibilities and ambitions took hold of me. My want for money and social identity is overwhelming me. Don't know where I will head over too! What's your take?

I think wanting more money is not something wrong or evil, the problem is when we make it our top priority and misuse it.

Yes, wanting money is not evil nut wanting more and more money might bring out the evil in you. Yes,Once you prioritize it, you gradually start neglecting the rest

U r not the only one i guess but majority of today's people are getting attached to money as you are now.The only difference between you and them is that you seem to be aware of that.Just remember "attachment" to any thing in this material world leads to nothing but all sorts of problems in our lives.Lord Buddha also said that "Desire is the root cause of all sorrows".Being a rational human being we do have our needs and wants & for that we need money but that does not necessarily mean we start running after it.So my take for this would be that we should try to limit our needs and/or wants as far as possible & lead a life as simple as possible. We should also try to put a brake to our desires, control them and become their master instead of serving for them.Having said all that you should also remember that "if something is meant for you in this material world, you will get it" no matter what.To conclude its very important that one should learn to "utilize" money instead of "enjoying" it.

Once again welcome to my discussion. Very well said @arintellect007 Must accept "Desire is the root cause of all sorrows". Society has influenced me a lot and turned me into what I am right now. But I just blame the society. I'm a sensible human being and shouldn't be under any sort of influence whatever may be the situation. Yes, I take care not to be governed by money. I don't go for showoff and lead a pretty simple life. My only ambition is to build a successful career and earn good money in my name, without depending on some one for my needs. I too believe that, what's meant for me will definitely come to me .
