Do you read mangas?

Hello everybody, I like to read mangas. Currently I reading one called 'Gamble Fish', it is about a very smart guy. He went to a school and gamble with the students and earn a lot of money thanks to high intellect. It is not such a great manga. Actually my favorite one is Liar Game, I think is as interesting as Death Note.

I don't know anything about mangas, these are books I take it? Are they like what an old person like me would call comic books?

Mangas are Japanese comic books. They cover all genres from action to romance. They get translated to English so it became a Billion dollar industry in Japan. Some mangas are adapted into Anime while others are adapted into live action movies and Tv shows.

I am reading Attack on titan right now because I already lose hope that a season 2 of the anime will come. I also read Gantz because the anime got cancelled while manga have proper ending.
