Are You Brave?

Have you ever spoken up when you saw something going on that was wrong? Were you scared? What ended up happening?
With several children, I think I've learned to be brave in defense of my family. I teach my children to never allow anyone violate or inflict harm upon them. My poor husband and children get scared for me, most of the time. My older children kick my legs under the table or step on my foot before I "step on others", in which it seldom happens.
What ended up happening? Another character idea in my novel-- one that I'd kill, slowly.

My country went thru an acid test regarding this matter during the martial rule and those who survived became presidents and senators after it was all over

@louievill It's never easy. A lot of oppositions to suppress the morally right and truth will challenge the brave and courageous that love those virtues.

I did and my family disowned me yay! I just gave them a peace of my mind on how I felt about the way they treat me growing up because their expectations are way too high. I got tattoos, piercings and rebelled away from the perfect offpspring they always wanted. I am now Alone. I just purchased a farm and I live here on my own.

Do you ever miss them, though? Do you think and hope that they'd change? Do you wish that you'd see your loved ones again someday?
It's very wrong for them to make you live up to their expectations. That's next to impossible for me to be like-- a caricature of others' expectations of me. But I stay strong as long as I treat everyone with respect and dignity as I want to be treated.
It's a lonely road sometimes... Keep well and stay alive @CaptAlbertWhisker

@everwonderwhy I am financially successful so I never asked them for help. I haven't talk to them for years. i did tried to reconnect with them but I did the disowning this time around in 2013.
