I Wonder Who Originally Owned This Typewriter?

I can almost picture this typewriter being used in a dusty newspaper office, perhaps putting together the escapades of Al Capone! I did his family tree a few years ago and found that one of his brothers changed his name and moved away from the family. Even his own children didn't know for years and years that they had an Uncle Al who they were probably reading about in their newspapers on a regular basis.
Anyway, I wonder how fast you could actually punch down those keys? I'm sure that you didn't lightly tap them like you do on computers today! Now that would be something to look up?
I would love to have something like this for my office. I don't know how much work I would get done lol. I would probably spend way too much time just staring at it wondering... about the stories that it could tell!

When I starated high school those are the typewriters that we used. They were difficult to do typing on because you had to press the keys so and then hit the return level at the end of the sentence. Typing timings were always a challenge. My second year of high school we got the electric typewriters. What a pleasure they were to use after using the above ones.

Oh Wow that is an old looking one. I remember the old fashioned ones we learn on in typing classes but I don't think they we're that ancient, lol. Im sure it would have some interesting stories man how times have changed. I still remember everyone being excited when the electric typewriters came out, lol.
