I went to check what the YMCA is changing
For membership is out of reach for most people
Yes they give a little discount. The YMCA in my area is like $50.00 a month even at a discount like $30.00 a month in 10 month that $300.us
The reason I want to join the YMCA was for gym and the pool. The day rate for pool is $10.00 a day.one hotel in my area use to have own swim for $7.00 a day but they stopped that.

It is not cheap here either-at least not by my standards. It's $45 a month for anything you want to do there. I can't afford that along with all of my other bills.

I don“t know there price of the YMCA here or if there is still one. But there are many pools and places where you can do all sorts of exercise for less here.

In my part of NY after labor day all the public pools close for the season. If someone needs a pool the YMCA is the only options.

Why on earth would some one join the YMCA at this time and age? what does benefit when you join the organization? I've heard this through the song. well, taxes must be high so the membership is high as well.
