Do you think life insurance is uesful or just a waste of money ?

There are many different kinds of insurance in this world and life insurance is a common one. Is it a cleaver way of investment or is it not ? Are there any better alternatives for investment rather than just life insurance alone ? Share with us about your opinion ?

it is useful as it includes benefits in case of accident or any other event of such case

Warren Buffet never purchased life insurance because, for him, it was a waste of money - he could make more money from the premiums than the life company could. Sometimes you have to take it out - mortgage companies may not lend to you without it. For most people it can be a good idea, as otherwise they won't be able to provide for their family if they die.

If I have enough money I would go for life insurance too but if I have not enough I would prefer to add my extra money to my SSS contributions as self-employed or voluntary. It would be different if I were in different country maybe. In the Philippines, even if we are unemployed we can pay SSS contributions.
