Vintage ticket vending

Though ticket vending machines do exist, in Romania one can still find classical ticket kiosks. I took this picture and made it look vintage by using the Camu photo app. What would you think of it?

What are the tickets for? Public transportation?

Yes, these are bus tickets. A ticket allowing you a round-trip on the same bus line or two one-way rides on different lines costs 4 lei (about 1 US dollar).

Thank you! From a certain perspective, it's not bad having them - as you may also get directions from the sales ladies. And it also creates some jobs. But the main disadvantage is that you cannot get a ticket late in the evening or very early in the morning. Fortunately nowadays you may also get a card which can be charged at a vending machine or pay your bus ride by text message.
