Some people say Nat King Cole had the “velvet voice”. Well I want to say that he is the male velvet voice and Randy Crawford is the female velvet voice. Listen to this video and you'll agree.

I just don't know her at all but as you say, I must have heard her on the Lethal Weapon 2 soundtrack.

Many don't know her. But she hangs out with Joe Sample and other well known jazz musicians. They love her!!

I remember Randy Crawford. I used to play her on the radio at the local college station.

Really? You know I've never heard her music on the radio. My husband introduced me to her. I think we have cassette tapes he ordered when we joined a music club way back when.
