Hit by a ball

I am an avid Baltimore Orioles baseball team fan. I am watching the Orioles playing the Toronto Blue Jays at OPACY (Oriole Park At Camden Yards) in Baltimore, Maryland. The Toronto pitcher thru the ball and the umpire got hit in the head! He did not get knocked out but was taken out of the game to be examined. Good thing to check him. It was only the third inning but they brought a replacement umpire in.

the poor umpire hope it did not fracture his skull bet he will have on humongous headache lol

Yes, at this point all we can do is pray for him. The replacement umpire is wearing a catchers mask and helmet.

@Hatley Me neither, I remember in the past the umps did where protection. Why the first man didn't I am not sure.
